My interest in photography started by copying my father who was a keen amateur photographer. As he was also  closely involved with the old Crystal Palace motor racing circuit (now closed) it was inevitable that sports photographs would form part of my life.

I started taking photos with a Kodak 127 cartridge camera  without any great results, however it did teach me the rudiments of sports photography.

Working through a range of film SLR’s and now firmly changed to digital (Canon 400D) results have vastly improved and I have received many requests from top drivers/riders for copies of my work.

Whilst action shots form the basis of my background with the advent of digital manipulation the scope for  improved images increased and I have fully taken this on board.

With more time spent on manipulation that taking the actual basic shots I have been assisted in acquiring the basic shots by my neice Beth Fitzsimmons who accompanies me to the various circuit.
